It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgie Heck of Onawa, Iowa, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on May 5, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Magnus "Mac" Madsen and Genevieve Madsen (Rounsborg); her husband Robert D. Heck; her siblings, Curt Madsen, Franklin Madsen, Page Madsen, Burdette Madsen, Virginia VanNess and Mary Ann Madsen; and her siblings-in-law, Darrel VanNess, Jeannie Madsen and Betty Madsen.
She is survived by: her son Charles "Chuck" Heck (Kim) of Coalville, Iowa; her grandchildren, Tracy Erlandson of Onawa, Zach Heck of Coalville and Tony Heck of Duncombe, Iowa; her great grandchildren, Taylor Erlandson, Brandon Erlandson, Clara Heck and William Heck; and her siblings, Charles Madsen (Peggy) of Crescent, Iowa and JoAnn Thoreson (Dick) of Sioux City, Iowa. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
