It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Walker of Onawa, Iowa, who passed away on September 8, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Magnus Thogersen and Anna Thogersen (Madsen); her sons, Clinton Robert and Ronald Glen; her husband Robert Glen Walker; her siblings, Chris, Edger and Eva; and her grandson Kurt Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Christine of Onawa, Kevin Anthony (Sandra) of Sloan, Charlene Walker (David Deen) of Onawa, Iowa, Bradly Walker of Blencoe and Mark Walker of Blencoe, Iowa; and her grandchildren, Renae Sweeten (Ben) of Kansas City, Rhonda Leib of Virginia Beach, Bret Walker of Trail, Clint Walker (Amy) of Turin, Tracey Miller (Trevor) of Onawa, Ashley Walker (Angel Franco) of Council Bluffs, Quentin Carritt (Tiffany) of Creston, Jason Carritt (Apryl) of Springfield, Joseph Deen of Onawa and Brianna Deen (Kyle LaBarg) of Sloan. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 A. M. Monday, September 14, 2020 at the Rush Family Chapel, Onawa Iowa with Pastor Craig Bock officiating. (Social distancing measures must be followed- Family requests attendees to bring and wear masks.).
