He was predeceased by: his father Jeff Barclay; and his grandparents, Walter "Bubs" Barclay, Mick Morgan, Robert Fox and Birdie Fox.

He is survived by: his mother Monica Morgan; his brother Kristofer Barclay; his aunt Kristel; his uncle Lee Wheeler; his cousins, Westen and Nolan; his aunts and uncles, Jill, Michael Morgan, Jodi, Mark Boucher and Jonny Nickols; and his grandparents, Lois and Dave Nickols.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Onawa Bible Baptist Church (903 Diamond St, Onawa, IA 51040).

Trever gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donation with the Iowa Donor Network.
