He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hazel Schlitter and Willis Schlitter; his siblings, Daniel Schlitter (Susan) and Jane Schlitter Johnson (Obert); his wife Dorothy Ann Selberg; his children, Todd Schlitter (Beth), Leigh VanDoornik (Dave) and Kirk Schlitter (Janie); his grandchildren, Emily Grayson (Brian), Matthew Schlitter, Devin Bosma (Andrew), McKenna VanDoornik, Jaiden VanDoornik, Bryan Schlitter, Cassidy Schlitter, Aiden Schlitter, Kyle Bubb and Melissa Bubb; and his great grandchildren, Landon Bubb-Bergquist and Brynlee Bosma.
