He was predeceased by: his parents, James Eugene and Barbara DeLoris Mings (Jones); and his brother Robert "Bob" Mings. He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Lee Leon (Juan) of Spring Creek, Nevada; his grandchildren, MariLee Leon and Johonna Leon; and his uncle Kenny Mings (Irene) of Onawa, Iowa. He is also survived by numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends.
