With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lorraine Elizabeth Davis of Onawa, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2024 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Bartel and Lydia Bartel (Loehrke); her husband Leonard Davis; her son Jim Davis (Jim); her siblings, Chester Bartel, Willard Bartel, Roger Bartel, Eldon Bartel, Carolyn Bartel Decker and Arlys McMartin; and her friend Bob Miller (Joan).

She is survived by: her close friend Jenn Collison (Miller); her nieces, Marcia Wiener (Paul) of Loveland, Marian Greene of Hastings and Paulette McMartin of Owatonna, Minnesota; and her friends, Jeff Miller of Onawa and Chris Miller.

Memorials in Lorraine's memory may be directed to Jenn Collison and mailed to Goslar Funeral Home and Monuments, 1629 10th Street, Onawa, Iowa, 51040.

“We met Lorraine when we first started coming to Paradise South in Texas. She took care of us and welcomed us with open arms. And then I discovered that I knew her only son, who delivered almost every day to Twilight Acres in Wall lake iowa. What a privilege to know him and her. We missed her when she could no longer make the trip to Texas. Prayers for her and RIP Lorraine.”
