It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Phipps of Onawa, Iowa, who passed away on October 5, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Phipps and Ruby Phipps (Brink); his parents-in-law, Ted and Irene Rothe (Miller); his siblings, JoAnn Orsini, Lori Mousel (Ray) and Clarence Phipps; and his siblings-in-law, David Urban, Ed Jershin, Don Larson, Lois Gero and Patricia Yost.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Phipps of Little Sioux, Iowa; his children, Scott Phipps (Lisa) of Little Sioux, Sharyl Sauer of Des Moines and Stacy Warner (Grady) of Onawa, Iowa; his grandchildren, Hailey Clark, Seth Phipps, Karleigh Johnson (Jed), Jessica Lee, Ruby Phipps, Brent Sauer, Chance Sauer, Cooper Warner, Reid Warner and Morgan Warner; his great grandchildren, Lucas Plaehn, Kennedy Plaehn, Joselyn Johnson, Jordyn Johnson, Judson Johnson, Kori Lee and River James Sauer; his siblings, Donald Phipps (Denise) of Blencoe, Larry Phipps (Pat) of Iowa Falls, Iowa and Linda Urban of Sioux City, Iowa; and his siblings-in-law, Chuck Orsini of Onawa, Stanley Rothe (Debbie) of Omaha, Nebraska, Candace Phipps of Onawa, Lowene Jershin of Omaha and Wilma Larson of Omaha, Nebraska. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
