She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Chittick and Ellen Wade Chittick; her husband Jimmy David Wilcox; her brothers, Gary, Ronnie and Bob; and her siblings-in-law, John Brawner, Gary Erie, John Frasher, Irmgard Chittick and Tina Chittick.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Wilcox of Delta, Jeff Wilcox (Diana) of Cedar Rapids and Anita Sawyer (Alan) of Oskaloosa; her grandchildren, Autumn Wilcox (Mike Hildenbrand), Jesse Wilcox (Amy), Anna Myers (Patrick), Josh Sawyer and Adam Sawyer (Sophia); her siblings, LaVonne Brawner of Arroyo Grande, CA, Donna Cross of Cedar Rapids, Marlene Frasher of Marion, Ruth Coulter (Mike) of Hamilton, IL, Kay Trimpe of Williamsburg, Linda Martin (Doug) of Sigourney, Annette Yoder (Eddie) of Parnell, Sandy of Williamsburg, Jack of Millersburg, Dale (Darlene) of Williamsburg, Stan (Linda) of Williamsburg, Jim of South English and Danny of Williamsburg; and her sisters-in-law, Maxine Chittick of Webster and Lisa Chittick of Ollie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prairie View Church (27131 IA-78, Ollie, IA 52576). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Rose Marie Wilcox escaped the grip of Alzheimer's dementia and was rescued by Jesus' loving arms on January 18, 2025 at the age of 82.
