He is survived by: his mother Anna Marie Adam (Clark) of Olin, IA; his child Kory Alexander of Dayton, OH; his wife Kathleen "Kathy" Adam of Olin, IA; his child Krystle Dearth (Tommy) of Andrew, IA; his grandchildren, Bailey, Alissa, Kayden and Kashton Dearth; his siblings, Christopher Adam (Toni), Lynda Booker (Roy) of Rock Island, IL and Rhonda Gable (Ken); and his aunt Elizabeth Leddy.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Virgil L. Adam memorial fund has been established.
