He was predeceased by: his parents, John Martensen and Anna Martensen (Dirks); and his brothers, John, Carl, Harold and Marvin.
He is survived by: his sibling Langworthy; his wife Mary Fee; his children, Karla Stewart (Bret), Anamosa, Tammie Chasteen (Richard), Colorado Springs, Kristine Martensen, Monticello, Shane Martensen (Christy) and Marion; and his siblings, Dean Martensen (Millie), Salt, Allen Martensen, Monticello, Larry Martensen, Martelle, Carol Anders (Andy), Colorado Springs, Bev Dieken (Jim), Jan Oetken and Greeley. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
