It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Sweet of Olin, Iowa, born in Monticello, Iowa, who passed away on August 19, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his mother Geraldine Sweet (Capron) of Mount Vernon; his wife Terri Dommer of Olin; his son Richard "Rick" Embry (Elizabeth) of Michigan; his grandchildren, Candice Williams (Steven) of Anamosa, Shane Baxter (Rebecca Hughes) of Anamosa, Zoey, Sophie and Stella; his sisters, Cheryl Strawn (Rob) of Surprise, Sue Skoff (Joe) of Mount Vernon, Sondra Burnell (Dan) of Mount Vernon and Jane; his close friend Melonie Conn (Steven); and also, Kylie, Alyssa and Taylor of Niles. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
