He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Thomsen and Minna Thomsen (Carstensen); and his nephew Tim Chamberlin. He is survived by: his girlfriend Marlene Levsen; his brothers, Paul Thomsen (Linda) of Anamosa and Gordon Thomsen (Betty) of Olin; his nieces and nephews, Stacey Thomsen Bennett (Jeff), Mark Thomsen (Megan), Jeff Thomsen (Angela) and Lori Chamberlin Colehour (Ben); and also, Beau Summers and Rayanne Zeltner.
