He is survived by: his son Chad Conwell (Candy Sheldon) of Hale; his stepgranddaughters, Desirae Martinez, Monica Wilmoth and Amanda Phelps (Willy); his sister Laverna Hanson of Cedar Rapids; his daughter-in-law Carolyn Hayes; his sister-in-law Melody Reck (John); and his nieces and nephews, Greg (Susan), Julie (Randy), Danny (Chris), Jennifer (Mike), Laura (Adam) and Brady (Ashley).
