He was predeceased by: his parents, John Isder and Katie Isder (Kielman); and his siblings, Elsie Wink, Jenny McLoughlin, Ernest Isder, Esther Bicknese and Irene Kielman.
He is survived by: his former wife Elizabeth Valen; his daughter Kay; his wife Virginia "Ginger" Hageman; his children, Michael Isder of Rochester and Morgan; his daughter-in-law Kay Maurer (Brad) of Spencer; his grandchild Chris Maurer (Kerri); his great grandchild Charlie; his grandson Ross Maurer; his sister Eunice Voigt; and his stepchildren, Mitch Hageman (Rhonda), John Hageman (Sarah), Joe Hageman (Sandra) and Danny Hageman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Iowa Great Lakes Trail System.
