He is survived by: his children, Kathy Allen (Brad) of Boone, Kris Peppels of Boone, Mike Porter (Penny Lou) of Livermore, Mary McGrane of Superior and Craig Porter (Maggie) of Des Moines; his siblings, Julia Meyers (Mel) of Ogden, Jeanne Majoros of Ames, James Porter (Betty) of Tehachapi and Max Porter (Alice) of Ogden; his siblings-in-law, Shirley Porter of Perry, Jeanie Porter of Boone, Etta Mae Daniels of Pilot Mound and Art Allen of Boone; and also Bill. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
