We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2024, at the age of 68, Teresa Dawdy of Ogden, Iowa, born in Pico Rivera, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Teresa may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Teresa touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Smith and Barbara Smith (Childers); her husband Rickie Dawdy; and her sister-in-law Barbara Smith. She is survived by: her children, Brianna Schelle (Anthony) of Ogden, IA and Matthew Dawdy (Madi) of Boone, IA; her granddaughters, Madelyn, Abigail, Emma and Lily; and her siblings, Valerie Lowe (Eric) of Long Beach, CA, Brian Smith of Lake Havasu, AZ, Michael Smith (Lisa) of Aztec, NM and Shawn Smith (Maribel) of Burleson, TX. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
