Robert Gene Ausborn Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2024, at the age of 85, Robert Gene Ausborn (Ogden, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Ausborn and Anna Ausborn (Groh); his parents-in-law, James and Clara Belle Larson; and his brothers, Harvey, Ervin, Donald and Leonard.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ausborn of Ames, IA; his children, Randy Ausborn (Sam) of Ames, IA and Melanie Olesen (Billy) of Ogden, IA; his grandchildren, Meagan Henderson (Andrew), Cody Ausborn (Jordan), Sammi Jo Wademan (Dalton) and Dylan Elbert (Anna); and his pet Lucy. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Leonard Good Community Center.
