With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Carl Powers of Ogden, Iowa, born in Boone, Iowa, who passed away on June 30, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Powers and Florence Powers (Brown); his daughter Rebecca Powers; and his siblings, James Powers and Charlotte Nowlin.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Powers of Boone; and his children, Deborah Bargman (John) of Des Moines, Marcia Roeder (Rick) of Jefferson, Robert L. Powers (Annette) of Ogden, Jeff Powers (Ann) of North Liberty, Jay Powers (Melodee) of Newberg, OR and Lori King (Rex) of Boone. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
