She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Satern; her parents, Lester Bommel and Lucille Pilgram; her siblings, Don Bommel, Gary Bommel, Jim Bommel, Bev Quade and Betty Peterson; her granddaughter Baylee Dane Tews; her great grandchild Memphis Tews McFarland; and her foster son Mark Fry.
She is survived by: her children, Kendall Tews (Toni) of Manson, Dana Tews (Paula) of Guthrie Center, Shaun Tews (Ronda) of Delray Beach, FL, Brandon Tews (Katie) of Ogden and Melissa Collins (Ben) of Thor; her foster son Randy Poutreof Manson (Diane); her siblings, Merv Bommel (Linda) of Waukee, Shirley Stockwell of Caldonia, Michigan and Pat Hunt of Van Meter; and her stepbrothers, Louis Busse (Bev) of Manson and Lyle Busse (Delores). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
