He was predeceased by: his parents, John McDaniel and Martha Marlene McDaniel (Mavin). He is survived by: his wife Rexanne LuRee Brandt; his sons, Scott Kendall (Charity) of Rippey and DeWayne Kendall (Bailey Reinhart) of Ames; his grandchildren, Damien, Kameron and Briley; and his siblings, Glen Kendall (Robin), Rodney Kendall (Denise), Chris Moody (Dave), Kathy Peterson (Jim) and Barbara Shell (Justin). He is also survived by foster children and extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the (ISSDA) Iowa State Sheriffs' and Deputies Association.
