He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Phillips and Marlene Phillips (Jessen); and his brother-in-law Brian Kirvin. He is survived by: his children, Benjamin Phillips of Ogden and Jessica Phillips of Perry; his siblings, Max Phillips (Sherrill) and Alene Kirvin; his nephew Aaron Phillips (Laura); and his nieces, Kate Fleming (Jerrod), Hannah Beitelspacher (Matt) and Madison Taylor (Caleb). He is also survived by three great-nephews.
