She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester and Ike; and her siblings, Josephine Anderson, Danny Sego and Marie Hilliard.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Phipps of Watertown, Michael Phipps (Linda) of Ankeny and Lori Dittmer (Herb Jr); her grandchildren, Mellissa Hefler (Chris), Stephen Phipps, Johnnie Phipps, Megan Cappel (Troy), Mallory Bunkers (Cody) and Hailey Dittmer; and also, Wynona, Ima and Ogden. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
