Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Vivian Irene Petrik of Oelwein, Iowa, born in Oran, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 88, on January 9, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ilo Bernard and Esther Latham (Strempke); her husband Richard "Dick" Petrik; her siblings, LeRoy Latham, Laverne Latham and Donna Corrigan; and her siblings-in-law, Lois Stuart, Patricia Wetmore and Bob Petrik.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Petrik (Mary) of Seattle, David Petrik (Lori) of Woodbury, Minnesota, Gail Ware (Jonathan) of Johnston, Janna Kane (Ron) of Manchester and Maribeth Richards (Randall) of Daytona Beach, Florida; her grandchildren, Carissa, Adam, Megan, Leslie, Lauren, Collin, Christopher, Jerrad and Jacob; her sister Vertilla Robinson of Eustace, Texas; and her brother-in-law Mike Petrik (Dawn) of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing and masks are suggested at the visitation and service.
Memorials may be directed in her name to Cedar Valley Hospice.
