With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Theodore Delano Jelinek (Oelwein, Iowa), born in Austin, Minnesota, who passed away on June 10, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Rudolph and Elsie Rose Jelinek (Lukes); his spouse Jean Rae Smith; and his daughter Jill Ann. He is survived by: his children, Steven, Timothy, Steve Jelinek of Pekin, Tim Jelinek (Kathy) of Oelwein, Tom Jelinek (Slava) of Las Vegas and Nancy Kastli (Todd) of Oelwein; his grandchildren, Cody, Neil, Matt, Sarah, Chris, Jacci, Sam, Lindsay and Mario; and his siblings, Eugene Jelinek (Polly) of Austin, Minnesota and Betty Loucks of Austin.
Memorials may be directed in his name to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oelwein Health Care Center, or to the family for a future memorial in Ted's name.
