She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse R. Emery and Louise C. "Happ" Emery (Holzer); her sons, Robert "Bobby" and Rick Renslow; and her siblings, Imogene Wittstock, GenRose Griffith, Raymond Emery, Dwight Emery, Leigh Frank and Eugene Emery.
She is survived by: her former husband Robert Renslow, Sr.; her husband Phil Cousineau of Prescott, Arizona; her sons, Randy Renslow (Rebecca) of Oelwein and Raymond Renslow (Charlotte) of Muskogee, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Nickie Renslow (Chris Henderson), Amber Smith (Joe), Jeremy Renslow (Leslie), James Renslow, Ashley Renslow (Josh Griffin) and Selena Tafolla; her stepdaughters, Michele Rufo (Franco) of Boston and Jacquelyne Garcia (Joe) of Boston, Massachusetts; her stepgrandchildren, Madeline, James, John, Brooke and Luke; her daughters-in-law, JoLynne Barker of Oelwein and Carol Renslow of Oelwein; and her sister IlaMae Garrett (James) of Waterloo. She is also survived by 9 Great Grandchildren.
Sandy moved to Oelwein, due to her health, during the pandemic and eventually became a resident at Oelwein Health Care Center.
