He was predeceased by: his parents, Quinton T. Sirpless and Edith Avo Sirpless (Carruthers); and his daughter Teri Lee Olson. He is survived by: his wife Kay Sirpless of Oelwein; his son Timothy Sirpless (Carol); his son-in-law Gary Olson (Doris) of Hiawatha; his stepgrandchildren, Jayson Hoffman (Dana) and Kyle Olson; his siblings, Glynn Sirpless (Shirley) and Nancy Fry; his nieces, Glynna Sirpless and Sheryl Sirpless; and his nephew Eric Fry.
Due to recommendations from state and federal health officials during the COVID-19 pandemic, guests are required to wear a mask and social distance.
A Memorial Fund has been established for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Iowa Chapter in West Des Moines or the Oelwein Community Plaza.
