He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William "Bill" and Pauline Ruth Bellmer (Hall); his former wife Lana Kay Turner; his stepson Cody Dowd; his sisters-in-law, Denise Bellmer and Roxie Jacobsen; and his niece Felicia Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Bellmer (Carnicle) of Oelwein; his sons, Robert Bellmer (Deb) of Ainsworth and Timothy Bellmer (Sandy) of Oelwein; his stepsons, Rocky Dowd (Sheila) of Oelwein and Ethan Dowd of Oelwein; and his brothers, Bill Bellmer (Amy) of Fairfax and Scott Bellmer of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
