He was predeceased by: his brother Ernest; and his half-siblings, Viola Chemis and William Sauer. He is survived by:, Dana Marie Streittmatter Henahan, Elizabeth Ann Streittmatter Kidd, Ragena Lynn Streittmatter Jordan (Lee), Mia Michelle Streittmatter Farmer, Tamara Jo Streittmatter Page (George), Karen, Shane of California and Deb Huber (Barry) of Oelwein.
