He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Edward and Geraldine Leone Crandall (Holmes); his brother-in-law John "Dick" Zubrod; and his nephew Wade Zubrod (Allen Crandall). He is survived by: his son Jeff Crandall (Kate) of Brownsville, MN; his sisters, Barb Zubrod of Oelwein and Sandy Cooper (John) of Marion; his grandson Zach Crandall (Kennedy); his great grandchildren, Zaynn, Brylie and Maren; his nieces, Tina Zubrod of Oelwein and Heather Maris (Bill) of Downers Grove, IL; his great-nephews, Liam and Evan; and his close friend Marsha Chapman of Oelwein.
