It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paul Robert Bowers Jr. of Oelwein, Iowa, who passed away on September 1, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Robert Bowers Sr. and Charlotte Isabelle Bowers (Conner); and his son-in-law Christopher Ash. He is survived by: his daughter Tina Ash of Oelwein; his grandchildren, Matt Dales of Oelwein, Lucas Ash of Oelwein and Mariah Ash of Cedar Rapids; his daughter Sara Scott (Jeremy) of Aplington; his grandchildren, Tess Smith (Kevin) of Oelwein, Torie Bowers of Waterloo, Hailee Canfield of Waterloo and Wesley Bowers (Rachel) of Independence; his great grandchildren, Hailey Votroubek of Patterson, Brooke Bowers of Waterloo, Charlotte Bowers of Independence, Colton Votroubek of Independence and Paul W. Bowers of Independence; and his sisters, Becky Rees (Charlie) of Oelwein and June Griffith (Allen "Butch") of Oelwein. He is also survived by 11 Great Grandchildren.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic and as recommended by the Governor of Iowa, social distancing will be required. Those in attendance are strongly encouraged to wear a mask at the services.
