It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Robert VanDeWalker of Oelwein, Iowa, who passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith William and Dorothy Jane VanDeWalker (Roose); his parents-in-law, Lloyd and Frieda Bartels; his sister-in-law Kari VanDeWalker; and his nephew Dylan Thomas VanDeWalker.
He is survived by: his wife Jan VanDeWalker of Oelwein; his brothers, Dennis VanDeWalker (Kathy) of Iowa City, Thomas VanDeWalker of Independence and Duane VanDeWalker (Brenda Lau) of Waterloo; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Bartels (Sue) of Marion, Jerry Bartels (Dora) of Elms Springs, Jeff Bartels (Lynn) of Oelwein, Jackie Nelson (Roger) of Oelwein and Jerome Bartels (Nancy) of Lee's Summit. He is also survived by many Nieces & Nephews.
