He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyal William "L. W." and Leona Annie Schult (Miller); his stepmother Dawn Schult; and his brother Loyal "Bud" Schult. He is survived by: his wife Donna Schult of Oelwein; his daughters, Debby Dresen (Tim) of Oelwein, Becky Mascari (Rick) of Iowa City and Barb Schult (Paul Buhr) of Paris, Iowa; his grandchildren, TJ Jackson (Ashley), Karlee Weidemann (Nate), Ryan Strang, Leif Lujan and Tait Lujan; his stepgranddaughter Brenda Byram (Jon); his great grandchildren, Kash, Bodhi Weidemann, Scarlett, Stella Jackson and Emily Byram; and his siblings, Garnet Walton of Oelwein, Carroll Schult of Oelwein, Lorna Smith of Douglasville, Eleanor Zubrod (Chuck) of Clinton, Lynn Sweitzer of Muscatine, Ted Grahm (Carol) of Mission and Arlan Schult (Pam) of Canyon Lake, Texas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home (221 N Frederick Ave, Oelwein, IA 50662). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed in his name to St. Croix Hospice or Ronald McDonald House.
