We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2019, at the age of 91, Marvin James Leverington (Oelwein, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Will and Carrie Emma Leverington, Sr. (Meska); and his brothers, Kenneth Leverington, Delbert Leverington and Lavern Leverington.

He is survived by: his wife Martha Leverington of Oelwein; his children, James Leverington (Pam) of Fayette, Lynn Niehaus (Randy) of Clarksville and Steven Leverington of Independence; his siblings, Wilma Walters of Chandler, Arizona and Will Leverington, Jr. of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and his sister-in-law Janet Leverington of Independence. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren: 5 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed in his name to the Zion Lutheran Church Parking Lot Fund or the Alzheimer's Association.
