He is survived by: his mother Nancy Sue Wendel (Roll); his wife LaVonne Wendel of Oelwein; his daughters, Nancy Lindsey of Oelwein and Amy Wendel of Oelwein; his stepchildren, Flora Epley of Oelwein, Laura Ament of Oelwein and James Epley of Fayette; and his siblings, Tammy Swenka of Belmont, Kent Wendel (Janette) of New London, Elwood Wendel (Tina) of Sumner, Nedra Blietz (Joshua) of La Crosse and George Wendel of Oelwein. He is also survived by many Nieces & Nephews.
