She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Slauson and Marion Slauson (Egan); her husband Louis Stevens; and her son-in-law Gary Gilson. She is survived by: her daughters, Kay Gieselman (Harold) of Oelwein, Karen Gilson of Oelwein and Connie Kaltenbach (Daryl) of Oelwein; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Slauson of Seattle, WA, Mary Nebel of Dyersville and Grace Stevens of Dyersville.

A memorial fund has been established.
