It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lucille Ruth James of Oelwein, Iowa, who passed away on March 18, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Warren and Iva Mae Alshouse (Lincoln); her husband Howard Henry James; her son Terry; her granddaughter Jacqueline James; her great grandchild Patty Horan; her brothers, Lyle Alshouse, Elmer Alshouse and Dale Alshouse (Shirley); and her daughter-in-law Sue James.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald James, David James (Connie) of Hazleton and Karen Horsfall (Tim) of Waterloo; her granddaughters, Leslie Horan (Steve), Dinese James, Terrecia Shoudy, Carrie James, Danielle Flanders (Trent) and Sarah Harris (Leon); her siblings, Gladys Willits of Melbourne, Dean Alshouse (Glenda) of Waterloo and Lee Alshouse (Elinor) of Marion; and her sisters-in-law, Irene Alshouse of Dubuque and Donna James of Oelwein. She is also survived by 9 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Granddaughter.
Due to recommendations from state and federal health officials during the COVID-19 pandemic, guests are required to wear a mask and social distance.
