She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lisk and Clara Lisk (Andrews); her husband Duane "Red" Hanson; her daughter Diane Happel; and her brother Lloyd Lisk.

She is survived by: her children, Sandie Leiss (Tim) of Fremont, NE and Sharie Wendling (Rick) of Hazleton; her grandchildren, Brett Leiss (Jolene), Jay Leiss (Maria), Troy Wendling (Jenn) and Ashley Kafer (Aaron); her great grandchildren, Maya, Abby, Ashley, Harper, Charlee, Reese and Drew; her son-in-law Rick Happel of Cedar Rapids; and her brother Larry Lisk (Marilyn) of Everett, WA.. She is also survived by her three daughters and then for her grandchildren and more recently for her great granddaughters.

Due to state and federal guidelines on gatherings regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing is required.

“I know your hearts are hurting. Leo was one of a kind! She loved you all so much and was never happier than when her home was filled with generations of family. Especially if it was also at the river. I will miss that great laugh forever. And the way she could spin a story. Our family has a big gap where her love and laughter was. Lots of memories to cherish. Love to all. Mary Lynn”
