He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Blunt and Caroline Blunt (Nelson); his parents-in-law, Milton and Jeanette Lindell; and his brothers-in-law, Don Lindell and Darle Lindell.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Blunt of Oelwein; his children, Kris Moeller (Craig) of Oelwein and Marc Blunt (Heather) of Oelwein; his grandchildren, Mason, Maura, Mycah, Merek, Ally, Hannah and Hunter; his sister Kareen Sharff (Charles) of Fayette; his nieces and nephews, Brent Sharff, Brenda Werning, Melinda Sharff-Eggers, Robin Macknight and Jeff Lindell; and his aunts, Money Wickwire (Wick) of Allison and Delphine Blunt of Jesup.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing and masks are suggested at the visitation and service.
Memorials may be directed in his name to Zion Lutheran Church, Oelwein.
