We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Kay Gieselman of Oelwein, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Stevens and Marie Stevens; and her in-laws, Howard and Dorothy Gieselman. She is survived by: her husband Harry; her children, Renee Hembry (Doug) of Milo, IA, Gwen Recker (Scott) of Oelwein, IA and Heath Gieselman (Kera) of Oelwein, IA; her grandchildren, Cameron Minton (Kayden), Gabrielle Recker, Grant Minton, Eric Recker, Alex Gieselman, Lana Gieselman, Owen Gieselman and Simon Gieselman; her great grandchild Colter Minton; and her sisters, Karen Gilson and Connie Kaltenbach.
A rosary will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Geilenfeld-Buehner Funeral Home (309 1st Ave NE, Oelwein, IA 50662). Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (628 S Frederick Ave, Oelwein, IA 50662).
Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation.
