He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward "Jack" and Echo Beth Phyllis Linder (Peterson); and his brother Douglas Nolan. He is survived by: his son Joey Nolan (Katie) of Maynard; his grandchildren, Timothy and Angela Nolan of Maynard; his siblings, Dorsey Herman of Cedar Falls, Natalie Conner (Chris) of Salem and Donald (Neil); and his sister-in-law Carol Nolan of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
