He is survived by: his children, Donnie, Dorsey Herman of Cedar Falls, Joe Nolan of Oelwein, Natalie Conner (Chris) of Salem and Donald Linder (Neil Boudreaux) of Marion; his daughter-in-law Carol Nolan of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Parker Vest, Adam Herman, Audrey Herman, Jessica Mitchell, Joe Mitchell, Caleb Nolan, Joe Nolan and Katie Nolan; his great grandchildren, Jacob Nolan, Teagan Mitchell, Timothy Nolan and Xuvia Stevenson; his siblings, Jerry Linder of Fredericksburg, Bob Linder (Arlis) of Arlington Virginia, Jan Wearda (Don) of Cresco and Sharon Ash (Robert) of Rockford; and his siblings-in-law, Della Matheny (Archie) of Hardy and Ronald Peterson of Hardy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
