He is survived by: his former wife Shirley Ann Folsom; his children, Jeffrey Hicks of Oelwein, Randy Hicks (David Rivers) of California and Sherry Scharnhorst (Michael) of Independence; his grandson Eric Mast (Heather) of Hazleton; and his sister Mary Ellen Zander of Tripoli.
