With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne Elizabeth Walters of Oelwein, Iowa, who passed away on June 15, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Green and Frances Green (Wycislo); her husband Martin Evans Walters; her son Todd Walters; her son-in-law Steve Wichman; and her brothers, Harold Green and Butch Green.
She is survived by: her children, Dee Shay of Milford, James Walters (Kris) of Oelwein, Pam Southards (Brian) of Laramie, Lynn Wichman of Manchester and Shanessa Derby of Manchester; her daughter-in-law Pam Walters of Oelwein; and her sisters, Dee Nieman of Sumner and Karen Wise of Oelwein. She is also survived by 19 Grandchildren; 38 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
A Memorial Fund has been established for the Leukemia Foundation.
