It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Russell Ott (Oelwein, Iowa), who passed away on April 15, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Kenneth Ott; and his siblings, William Ott, August "Sonny" Ott, Agnes Ott and Ida Mae Phelps.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ott of Sumner; his children, Pamela Schmitt (Daniel) of Sumner, Roland "Rollie" Ott (Deb) of Tripoli, Carolyn Schmitz (Dave) of Fairbank and Helen Klemp (Mark) of Tripoli; and his sister Toni Opperman of Oelwein. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
