He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph R. Tafolla and Marie Tafolla (Lujan); his grandson Joseph Tafolla; and his siblings, Nabor, Clement, John and Sylvia.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Tafolla of Oelwein; his children, Scott Tafolla of Oelwein, Rodney Tafolla of Oelwein, Tricia Loomis, Jr. (Gene) of Oelwein and Frankie Tafolla (Amanda) of Nixa, Missouri; his grandchildren, Corianne Villa, Mitch Tafolla (Rachel), Taalor Tafolla (Garrett VanderWerf), Megan Tafolla and Matayo Tafolla (Lily Mata); his great grandchildren, Cael, Grayson, Harper, Kynsley, Jack and Scottie; his siblings, Jim Tafolla of Oelwein and Ernestine Vance of Hazleton; and his nieces and nephews, Marty Villa and Shelly Tafolla.
A Memorial Fund has been established for the American Cancer Society.
