He was predeceased by: his parents, Erich Westpfahl and Clara Westpfahl (Wendlend); and his parents-in-law, Harold and Artis Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Westpfahl of Oelwein; his sons, Steve Westpfahl (Shyla) of Oelwein, Rick Westpfahl (Andrea) of Pleasant Valley and David Westpfahl (Connie) of Oelwein; and his grandchildren, Sheena Palmer (Tim), Jason Westpfahl (Heather), Shawn Westpfahl (Wanda Muir), Rachel Sale' (Latif), Dustin Westpfahl and Adam Westpfahl (Dawn Harriman). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Due to recommendations from state and federal health officials during the COVID-19 pandemic, guests are required to wear a mask and social distance.
