He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Henry "Ben" and Anna Eleanor Meyer (Hallberg); his wife Dorothy Jean Armentrout; his siblings, Raymond "Pete" Meyer, Bernard Meyer and Donna Arthur; his siblings-in-law, Ethel Meyer and Earl Arthur; and his close friend Erma Graf.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Wood (Kurt) of Fayette, Steven Meyer (Jo) of Mesa and Douglas Meyer (Theresa) of Locust Grove, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Shawna Meyer Hill (Matt), Beau Meyer (Jennifer), Rustin Meyer (Hollie), Scott Wood (April), Alyssa Wood (Joseph Hazel), Jeremy Meyer (Nikki), Brittany Meyer (Tom) and Ethan Meyer. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
Memorial Fund: Fayette County American Cancer Society Walk and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
