He is survived by: his wife Verna Kay Thein; his children, Carmen Wedemeier (Joe) of Oelwein, Steve Estling (Jamie) of Oelwein and April Estling of Maynard; his grandchildren, Eric Croal, Taylor Wedemeier, Jared Wedemeier, Brendon Estling, Jacob Estling and Amir Estling; his great grandchildren, Emery Croal and Lilly Estling; and his siblings, Darla Thompson (Tom), Dixie Hoffman (Sonny), Mike Estling (Sue) and Kenny Estling (Judy).
