Dick Klapperich Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dick Klapperich of Oelwein, Iowa, who passed away on November 6, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Klapperich and Rose Klapperich (Faist); and his brothers, Bob Klapperich and Bill Klapperich. He is survived by: his siblings, Elizabeth Streicher (Gene) of Oelwein, Duane Klapperich of Clive, Jane Bryan of Cedar Rapids and Dale Klapperich (Anne) of Rock Island, IL; his sister-in-law Barb Klapperich of Waverly; and his nieces and nephews, Karen Bonefas (Al), Paul Klapperich, Adam Hartwick (Diana), Janel Williams (Riley), Amanda Emery (Sean), Philip Streicher, Faith Awkerman (Matthew), Alec Klapperich and Owen Klapperich.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial gift to the Oelwein Fine Arts Guild and to set up a scholarship fund in his name.
