He was predeceased by: his brother Ronnie L. Millard Jr.; and his grandparents, Orvel, Shirley Kern, William "Kenneth" and Neva Millard.

He is survived by: his spouse Monica Marie Markin; his children, Dewey A. Millard Jr. of Oelwein, IA and Beyonca R. Millard of Oelwein, IA; his parents, Ronnie L Millard (Kathy) of Independence, IA and Shirley A. Kern (Vince Diskin) of Independence, IA; and his siblings, Sherry Kern of Independence, IA, Shana Albright (Martin), Michoacan, Mexico, Laura Banks, Jessica Millard, Mariah Millard (Chris Wilkinson), Prairie, Benjamin Millard (Andrea) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Joshua Millard (Mariah) and Rocky Millard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
